Help us to reach the £1.05m needed to meet the costs of this substantial renovation project. Every donation is most gratefully received.
Our cost estimate is not including any unforeseen costs which may arise.
To give some perspective, this is £3075 per day pro-rata for the planned construction period: August 2020 - June 2021.
It translates to around £130/hr, £2 per minute.
To date (May 2021) we have raised £650,000, thanks to a very generous benefactor, and a sum raised from the Fathers. We have also had early contributions on our Gofundme page as well as other one-off donations, all gratefully received.
Could you help us with 10 minutes for £20? 20,000 more people would get us to our goal!
Your donation is ring-fenced into the restoration & conservation fund, and directly contributes to this work.
While we also have our 'Church Restoration Fund', the proceeds are to maintain the Church building - itself also in need of repair. Collections and regular donations made by parishioners and visitors support the clergy and normal parish running costs.
Therefore, our need is great. Your donation, large or small will help us to meet these costs, and better still, your letting friends and family know will stretch your help even further.
Lockdown and restrictions meant that it was very difficult to raise funds in the early stages of the project, when the Fathers had to act quickly. Therefore our fundraising is now urgent.
